Leon Lourens is stepping down as the CEO of Pepkor at the end of September after close to five years at the helm, the owner of Pep, Ackermans and HiFi Corporation announced on Monday, with former CEO Pieter Erasmus returning.
Lourens joined the R74bn low-cost retailer 32 years ago and was appointed CEO on December 6 2017, but plans to take early retirement at the end of March 2023...
