THE #feesmustfall protests at universities throughout SA have elements of a "colour revolution", ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe said on Tuesday.Mantashe said at an investor conference organised by RMB Morgan Stanley in Cape Town: "In these protests we see elements of a colour revolution.… There is a growing trend of regime change. We saw it elsewhere … and when we say it people say we suffer from paranoia."The term "colour revolution" is generally used to describe a series of protests that succeeded in overthrowing post-communist governments in the 2000s.
