Bafana Bafana head to Mozambique for their friendly international on Tuesday in some turmoil, with coach Shakes Mashaba facing "disciplinary measures" from the national association‚ but with the chance to edge closer to a 20-year record for the side. Mashaba was told to stay at home after a verbal altercation with South African Football Association (Safa) president Danny Jordaan and guests who came to the team changeroom after the 2-1 World Cup qualifier victory over Senegal in Polokwane on Saturday. The side, to be led by assistant coaches Owen da Gama and Thabo Senong, is likely to see a number of changes‚ including a probable debut for Dutch-born striker Lars Veldwijk‚ an unused substitute on Saturday. The Senegal victory extended Bafana’s unbeaten run to 13 matches‚ two short of their longest unbeaten run of 15. That was achieved under coach Clive Barker from September 1994 to January 1996‚ midway through their successful Africa Cup of Nations Cup -winning campaign on home soil....
