The global protests against US President Donald Trump inspired by women remind us of the Women’s March to the Union Buildings in SA in 1956. If you insult the dignity of women, you insult a nation. If you gamble with world peace, reckon that women will be up in arms to protect their sons who must fight the battles. If you insult minorities and immigrants, remember they originate from somewhere where they are held dear and are respected as human beings. If you want to be a world leader, you had better develop a world perspective. Dawie JacobsSterrewag
