Court upholds directive to assist evicted tenant
Mpumalanga Economic Growth Agency had challenged Human Rights Commission’s finding that it may have contributed to tenant’s eviction

The high court on Tuesday upheld a ruling by the SA Human Rights Commission, which found that a provincial government agency may be partially responsible for a mob forcibly evicting a man from his home.
In 2003, Francis Tembo moved into a property in Mpumalanga and paid monthly rent to the landlord. The Mpumalanga Economic Growth Agency later took over the building and became the landlord. ..
