The Mpumalanga department of safety and security has argued successfully against a court order for a tender granted against it in its absence, and has managed to get it rescinded.

Mpumalanga high court acting judge Johannes Roelofse granted an urgent order in 2022 in favour of Mathatha General, Mabotwane Security and Mafoko Security. This was to temporarily suspend the department awarding a tender to Nhlanhlha Yethy Security and other successful bidders for security services for Mpumalanga government buildings. ..
