Mercedes showed a number of new models and concepts at the recent IAA show in Hanover

At this year’s IAA International Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover, the focus was on the megatrends of the future: digitalisation and e-mobility. Logistics rely on a network of players, including trucks, manufacturers, clients, hauliers, infrastructure, other vehicles, workshops, bodybuilders and more. Connectivity and the intelligent networking of trucks are now raising the haulage sector to a new level. Mercedes linked the two megatrends of digitalisation and e-mobility in its Urban eTruck concept. The vehicle is the company’s vision of the networked and all-electric distribution truck of tomorrow.
