THE African National Congress (ANC) in Limpopo was served a court interdict at its Peter Mokaba regional conference in Polokwane on Sunday, the party’s provincial task team said."Members of the ANC are interdicting us because they not happy with the result of the conference," convener Elleck Nchabeleng said."Our legal team is busy studying the interdict and conference will proceed as scheduled, our response will follow later."He would not comment further on the matter.The SABC reported that Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema’s former ally Lehlogonolo Masoga was elected chairman of the region on Sunday.Mr Masoga is also MEC for roads and transport in Limpopo.Mr Masoga and Mr Malema reportedly fell out in 2010 during the African National Congress Youth League’s provincial conference in Makhado.This was after Mr Masoga accused Mr Malema of dictating how the conference should have been run.Mr Masoga was subsequently suspended from the ANC after he took the party to court ove...
