I was asked recently whether I would like to live forever. The answer was a definitive “no”! What motivation is there in knowing you will live forever?
Later that evening in a taxi on the way home the question had me thinking. I would be really disappointed, when I’m dead, if I were unable to observe all the great scientific achievements that lie in our future over the next 50 to 100 years.
