If the party has the country’s interests at heart, it should act against those accused of corruption regardless of the positions they hold

It comes as no surprise that ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule is defending former president Jacob Zuma’s decision to defy the rule of law.
It has little to do with him respecting Zuma as a former leader; it is more of a self-serving plan to ensure he retains his job at Luthuli House despite facing criminal charges. ..
