Johannesburg’s power utility, City Power, is revising its new load-shedding schedules, which have left some customers irate and sparked rumours that residents are experiencing higher stages of load-shedding than those announced by Eskom.
However, City Power CEO Tshifularo Mashava says the company has now “signed off” on the schedules for stages 1 to 4 and is only revising schedules for load-shedding stages 5 and upward...
