EASTERN Cape High Court Judge Nambitha Dambuza and Johannesburg High Court Judge Rammaka Mathopo were recommended for appointment to the Supreme Court of Appeal, the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) said on Tuesday night.The two were always considered as front-runners, with Judge Dambuza the only woman candidate.She sailed through her interview, handling the only possible sticky point — a comment about her "paucity of reported judgments" — graciously.She said that no one had said about her judgments, reported or unreported, that she had not applied her mind or interrogated matters sufficiently.
