It must have been with a sense of pride and relief that President Cyril Ramaphosa heard that Edward Kieswetter was willing to extend his tenure as commissioner at the SA Revenue Service (Sars).
Kieswetter, who returned to Sars five years ago, has been one of Ramaphosa’s best recruits. He returned from a successful stint in the private sector to an institution that had been hollowed out by years of state capture orchestrated by Tom Moyane, a Jacob Zuma enforcer at Sars...
