DURBAN — He was once the ANC golden boy‚ the youth league leader who vowed to kill for the party president — but Julius Malema has vowed to never return to the political party where he cut his teeth. "Go to the ANC? I don’t imagine myself doing that‚" he said in Durban on Sunday. He was addressing the party’s branch members about two months after the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) KwaZulu-Natal structures were disbanded because of poor performance in the province in the August local government election. Malema said that‚ even though the EFF was just three years old‚ it had made remarkable gains. And this gave him the confidence that he was in the right place. "I will never go to the ANC.
