STUDENT leaders belonging to the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have taken over a portion of the office of University of the Witwatersrand vice-chancellor Adam Habib.They arrived at Mr Habib’s office at midday on Wednesday, and by Thursday the group of 12 — all in their 20s and clad in red T-shirts and matching berets — sang struggle songs, worked on their laptops and read books as they waited for Mr Habib’s arrival, expected by 4pm.Leader of the group Vuyani Pambo said they demanded that the EFF be registered as a student organisation. "We cannot assemble as EFF at Wits.
