A consultancy company associated with the chair of the Gauteng Growth and Development Agency (GGDA), Sibongile Vilakazi, was awarded contracts to facilitate board strategy sessions soon after her appointment without her having declared her association with the company.
Business Day has established that Johannesburg-based Purple Growth, which lists Vilakazi as one of its “experts”, was given several contracts in 2021-22...
