Brian Molefe’s appointment as a colonel in the SANDF is somewhat bemusing, as we are not sure if he is to be in charge of procurement, as he has great experience there, or is there to help the Guptas take over the army, or — more likely — is there to keep a watchful eye on our generals to avoid a Zimbabwe situation!
