The EFF’s policy influence is perceived as more destructive than not; its ideology as more aligned with the enemy than the virtuous and its corruption-busting as factional not helpful

Here is a counterintuitive suggestion: The EFF has peaked and it’s all downhill from here. That probably seems a little bit absurd, given the party’s 2019 election performance (it grew 4.4% to just under 11%), but there is an argument to be made much of that growth is illusionary.
At the very least, it is a thought experiment worth indulging. Let’s see where it takes us...
