They said it couldn’t be done, that momentum doesn’t work. That value doesn’t work. That nothing works
I pop my head outside the window to look at the ocean. I’m doing my 30 minutes of “work”, making sure my orders are being correctly processed on the server in London. I could have done it earlier, but I decided to go for a walk on the beach instead, and afterwards I stopped at El Mercado for a café con leche. Later I’ll go cycling and take the dog for a walk in the mountains. Tomorrow I’m going with friends to Seville. It’s a fun drive, it’s an amazing city. I’m in Spain, but will be back in London for Christmas — maybe go to Scotland. I’m living a life of financial freedom … I go where I want, when I want. It’s all thanks to the automated trading system, an algorithm I wrote, that’s making me more money than I know what to do with. I had to work hard up front, of course, but I did it!
