The Insider was struck early on in the US presidential campaign by how prophetic the 2006 B-Movie "Idiocracy" was turning out to be. Little wonder it has become a cult hit. For those who haven’t yet had the pleasure, the story line sees an ordinary private in the US army (Luke Wilson) volunteering to be put into hibernation for a year as part of a secret experiment. But when budget cuts result in the base being mothballed, he is left in stasis until 2505, only to discover on waking that anti-intellectualism has resulted in the average intelligence of the human race plunging. Top of the heap in the new world order is Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho (Terry Crews), "five-time Smackdown champion, porn superstar, and President of the US!", who fires his machine gun in the "House of Representin" and issues policy decrees like: "S**t, I know s**t’s bad right now, with all that starving bulls**t, and the dust storms, and we’re running out of French fries and burrito coverings. ...
