If you’re looking for a bit of fun on Saturday, why not just "get down on it", as a popular 1980s song used to urge? In this case, get down on your toilet seat and do the toilet dance. November 19 is World Toilet Day, an official UN celebration of sanitation and the toilet, and a call to the world to ensure that the billions of people around the world who do not have access to proper sanitation can eventually, well, get down on it. Every year, the World Toilet Organisation tries to make the event a fun occasion as well as a time for sombre reflection about the world’s huge shortage of toilets of all sorts. "Dance at Work" is a promotional catchphrase from the World Toilet Day information website, which encourages toilet users to "get up, get down, and post a video of you and your friends doing the #ToiletDance!" Presumably, the toilet dance can only be done on a toilet seat, so without straining yourself, get down and compose a creative toilet selfie, but try to keep it clean. Oh my...
