If you’re running a construction company in the UK, you may not know that KPMG— a professional services firm, as such outfits like to call themselves — is not exactly tops in the transparency business in SA at the moment. A report from Bloomberg about troubled UK construction group Carillion (headquarters in Wolverhampton, where wolf eats wolf), quotes interim group CE Keith Cochrane as saying "no option is off the table" as the company tries to recover from a record stock market plunge, weak profit growth and the resignation of its CEO. "Cash flow from some projects has deteriorated, and the board will review all of the company’s major contracts with the help of KPMG," Bloomberg reported Carillion as saying.
