The decline of nations can be charted in things large and small. My brother in New Zealand just e-mailed to thank me for his birthday card. Unfortunately it was a Christmas card posted in December 2018. A condolence card sent to a cousin in Australia via a Postnet courier service arrived after six weeks. Countries that can’t deliver letters, cant expect to be taken seriously. Bernard BensonParklands
