In the absence of any official announcements about this Monday past being made a public holiday, the presidency told us on Sunday that “people should proceed as normal”. And so we have.
Siya Kolisi and his titans continued to be world champions. Cyril Ramaphosa continued to be dwarfed by giants. And we continued to find relief and reassurance amid hypocrisy and dysfunction. ..
