There was one US Open record Kevin Anderson did not manage to break in his quarterfinal victory over Sam Querrey on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. By finishing at 1.52am, he and Querrey missed out on setting the record for the latest a match has finished.That record — 2.26am — is shared by three matches, according to the Washington Post, who wrote that the last time it was threatened was in 2014 by Kei Nishikori and Milos Raonic.
