Like Donald Trump, Alt-fact adherent Sean Spicer loves Twitter and trolling
Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary of "alternative facts" fame, who insisted that the crowd at President Donald Trump’s inauguration was "huuuuuger" than it clearly was, gave his first press briefing this week, rattling off a list of Trump’s apparent successes after three days in office. It has come to light, however, that there is a good reason Trump chose Spicer to be his mouthpiece, and it is this: they are both fans of Twitter and trolling. A New York Daily News report has unearthed a feud, started in 2010, between Spicer and something very important to the American people. Homeland security? No. The horror that is Meryl Streep? No. Ice cream. Dippin’ Dots is an American "beady frozen treat" with the tagline "Ice Cream of the Future". Spicer had a continuous Twitter feud with the company for five years, all through his tenure with the Republican National Committee.
