I’ve written in this column before about the Sisyphean beast that is legendary director Francis Ford Coppola’s passion project, Megalopolis.
The story follows an idealistic architect’s struggle to rebuild New York City as a utopia after a dystopian future disaster, while the film, which features an all-star cast led by Adam Driver and featuring Giancarlo Esposito, Aubrey Plaza, Dustin Hoffman and Laurence Fishburne, has been the subject of Hollywood whispering since the 84-year-old director announced that he was self-funding it and shooting it in 2023...
