DUDU Myeni, the chairwoman of South African Airways (SAA), is lobbying to place former Business Unity SA CE Jerry Vilakazi in the top job at Mango Airlines, as a precursor to him becoming the next CEO of SAA.Neither Myeni nor SAA spokesman Tlali Tlali responded to questions e-mailed to them last week. Vilakazi said Myeni had not approached him to take the Mango position and he knew nothing about it.Low-cost airline Mango is without a permanent CE after Nico Bezuidenhout’s departure on Friday.
