LETTER: No faith in our leaders
Leaders are the only beneficiaries of any decision taken
I am not a politically minded individual. I am just an ordinary SA citizen, trying to survive. I am very aware that choosing a government to lead us or guide us into success is very important, but since I’ve been making my mark at the voting station, I’ve actually seen no change and growth as far as the people of this country are concerned. I think that the leaders of this beautiful country are the only beneficiaries of any decision taken. The corruption is absolutely ridiculous! How is it even possible for me to have any faith or believe anything that our leaders say? Change will not happen now. And if 10 or 20 years ago, a “Saviour Political Party” started leading and growing this country the proper way, maybe I would also have benefited. If by some miracle it happens in the next election (it probably will not), then at least my children’s grandchildren will hopefully benefit. Emile Naiker, Camps Bay
