LETTER: Zuma takes us for fools on nuclear
Nuclear would take years to produce power

It is remarkable that it would take about 10 years to get new nuclear power plants from planning to actually producing power “Zuma stands by his Russian nuclear deal”, (March 22). So even if the button was pressed in 2015, power at the earliest would be available only in 2025. This is a factor lost in translation, having no impact on the present crisis. Zuma again insults the intelligence of this country. Francois PienaarParkwood
