A few years ago, when there was an extreme water shortage in Beaufort West, motorists passing through the town en route to their holiday destinations were encouraged to drop off five-litre casks of water to try to alleviate the situation, and many did. Wouldn’t this be a good idea now, with so many people going on holiday to the Cape? Celia ChalmersWendywood
