The heist that took place at OR Tambo International was, I think, somehow an inside job. I know it is too early to accuse people without police investigations, but this does make sense. The airport should be the place where most security is in place and the latest security systems are installed, since there is a high crime rate in SA and it includes human trafficking and drugs. The home affairs minister assured South Africans that security measures on the borders and at airports would be increased. Yet the cameras were allegedly off for a whole seven days and nothing was done? South Africans need an explanation so that they know it is safe to travel, around the country and the world.
