A man from St Louis, Minnesota, is hoping to track down the vandal who attacked a large inflatable snowman he had on his front lawn for decoration. Jeff Diggs posted video footage of the incident on YouTube in the hope of catching the person responsible for what he described as "mean-spirited … silly vandalism". The video, captured on Diggs’ home security cameras, shows the culprit, described as a "white male, possibly in his mid-20s, with a bandanna covering his face", jumping from a car, approaching the dirigible and then lashing out at it with a sharp object, possibly a knife. The vandal then jumps back into the passenger seat of the car and is driven away as the snowman deflates.
