AFRICAN National Congress (ANC) Western Cape provincial secretary Songezo Mjongile has been ordered to repay more than R350,000 he got from late mining boss Brett Kebble before the latter’s death in 2005.During his lifetime, Kebble had strong ties with the ANC, especially its youth league under then president Fikile Mbalula, now Minister of Sport and Recreation. Mr Mjongile was CE of the youth league’s investment company, Lembede Investments, which had close ties to Kebble.On Monday, the Western Cape High Court ordered Mr Mjongile to repay Kebble’s deceased insolvent estate close to R215,000, which he received from Kebble between November 2004 and February 2005, months before his death.
