Digital sales have continued to boost HomeChoice International, with the company reporting a double-digit rise in revenue for the full year. The home shopping retailer, which sells homeware, apparel, personal technology, loans and insurance products, said on Tuesday its digital sales continued to be the group’s fastest-growing channel and accounted for 12% of total retail sales. CEO Shirley Maltz said Mobi was the preferred shopping channel, with 56% contribution to total digital sales. Maltz said digital would be an area of focus in the next year. "We are focused on expanding our digital capabilities and driving customer engagement online to create a solid platform to achieve our ambitions of being a digital pan-African retailer and financial services provider," she said. In the period under review, HomeChoice reported a 19.3% rise in revenue to R2.7bn.
