A Cape Town-based alternative energy firm is banking on its innovative power supply system to provide uninterrupted power supply to residential homes, small businesses and even refugee camps.Build Africa Corporation’s power supply system named "The Power Up" system can harvest power from solar panels, a windmill, the grid or even a generator. The energy harvested will available for immediate use or saved to crystal batteries. The system can be used as a complete off grid solution collecting power from solar, wind or hydro sources.Government is looking at renewable energy solutions to address the power problems in the country.
