Manchester — Manchester United gave Manchester City a warning sign of what is to come next season, United defender Chris Smalling believes after the Red Devils’ incredible comeback from 2-0 down to win 3-2. City would have sealed the Premier League title with victory over their local rivals and are still well set to win the league for a fifth time as they boast a 13-point lead over United with six games to go. By fighting back United consolidated their place in second, four points clear of Liverpool, and sent a message that they can compete with City next season.
