Finance minister Enoch Godongwana says the sexual assault allegations against him, which could trigger the ANC’s step-aside policy, are being used as part of a political smear campaign against him.
Godongwana, a key ally of president Cyril Ramaphosa who is likely to seek re-election at the ANC elective conference is December, confirmed that he was in the Kruger Park area on August 9 where the incident allegedly occurred. ..
