Organisations affiliated to the ANC in Limpopo have called for the re-establishment of the VBS Mutual Bank amid a fresh storm over top party officials implicated in its alleged looting.
The bank was liquidated after an order was granted by the North Gauteng High Court in 2018. It had been placed under curatorship early in 2018 for liquidity problems after municipalities, which had allegedly illegally deposited funds into the bank, withdrew their cash...
