The DA will be laying criminal charges of perjury against President Jacob Zuma on Thursday, relating to his "sinister attempt" to mislead the courts, abuse judicial process, and ultimately undermine the law and the Constitution.The charges of perjury arise out of the court judgement handed down in the High Court in Pretoria on Wednesday, which dismissed Zuma’s attempt to review the former public protector’s State of Capture report, and its binding recommendations.The DA said Zuma’s insinuation that his act of perjury was a "typo" was an insult to the courts, and to the people of South Africa."Today was an important victory for the rule of law, and the people of SA.
