Port Elizabeth — A change of tactics at halftime set the wheels in motion for SA’s emphatic 37-15 win over Argentina in their opening Rugby Championship clash. At the break the Boks had a slender 13-5 lead and coach Allister Coetzee instructed his troops to get in behind the Pumas in front of the 44,000 fans packed into the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. Coetzee’s switch worked magic and the Boks ran in three superb tries in the second half as they took charge. In all, the Boks scored four tries to the Pumas’ two in an ideal start to what promises to be a tough Rugby Championship campaign.
