Did you know the DA has a women’s league? ‘Tis true. Well, not a league, per se, but a "network". Now there’s an awe-inspiring allusion. A network. Behold, the power of connectivity. The DA Women’s Network. DAWN. How patriarchy and misogyny tremble at the mere mention of the name. It is a force to be reckoned with, to be sure. It’s a pity Dawn washing liquid has control of the requisite Twitter handle. DAWN, the political warrior clan, deserves better. The interim leader of this force for equality and justice is one Denise Robinson MP. Don’t be fooled by the title, "interim", however. She has been interim leader for ages. Or, at least as long as the online historical record is willing to reveal. The mists of time allow one to look only so far back into the past, before they shroud over. Rumour has it DAWN was formed in 2009. Prior to Robinson, someone called Petro Nel headed it, also in an acting capacity, until the early 2010s.
