The JSE was firmer on Friday morning, with its global peers mixed, as investors digested policy decisions and US corporate earnings reports.
The European Central Bank (ECB) delivered a surprise 50 basis point (bp) hike on Thursday, its first in more than a decade, while the Reserve Bank also surprised with a 75bp hike. These are just the latest surprisingly hawkish moves from policymakers scrambling to get on top of inflation...
