THIS week the automotive media, motorsport fraternity and the nation mourn the untimely passing of racing driver Gugulethu "Gugs" Zulu.Born in Soweto in 1978, Zulu passed away at 5am on Monday morning at the foot of Africa’s tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. He was part of an expedition of climbers, including his wife Letshego, climbing for the Trek4Mandela charity to honour the great statesman, Nelson Mandela, and to raise funds for underprivileged girls.At the time of writing, we were informed that Zulu had struggled with altitude sickness during the climb at around 9pm on Sunday night as he had complained of flu-like symptoms over the weekend.
