PORSCHE’s four-door saloon, the Panamera, has always been a capable family hauler, but its looks were rather polarising to say the least. Yes, it had all the practical and performance credentials of a four-door saloon, but pretty was never one of its descriptive words. Now the latest, second generation has been unveiled in its production garb and it looks set to be a more rounded, even attractive package than its predecessor.It also comes with more efficient yet powerful engines across the board. From the outset, it is rather evident that the model has been made to resemble the company’s sports cars, with a sharper front end, more raked roofline and sportier rear end.The exterior has been sharpened, with the car now measuring 5,049mm (+34mm) long, 1,937mm (+6mm) wide and 1,423mm (+5mm) tall.
