RCL Foods looks for acquisitions even as turnaround continues

RCL Foods, the biggest supplier of chicken to fast-food chains such as KFC and Nandos, and which has a R1bn cash pile, is still on the hunt for acquisitions as it looks to broaden its offering in the branded consumer foods market.
The company headed by CEO Miles Dally, which boasts brands such as Selati sugar, Nola mayonnaise and Ouma rusks, has been building its grocery division in a move that could send it further down a fiercely competitive path dominated by established companies such as Tiger Brands and PepsiCo-owned Pioneer Foods...
