Brussels  —  Eurozone consumer inflation jumps by much more than expected in January, an EU statistics office estimate showed on Wednesday, pushed up by a jump in prices in Germany, Europe’s biggest economy, and the Netherlands, and despite the continued downward pull from cheaper energy.
