LEGAL sources agree the likely candidates for appointment to the Supreme Court of Appeal are KwaZulu-Natal Judge Kevin Swain and Western Cape judges Nathan Erasmus and Dumisani Zondi.But views differ on whether they are the best candidates.Of all the courts for which the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) will be interviewing this week, the Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) has the highest status.
