Global markets signal happiness about possible US rates cut

London — World stock markets rose on Thursday after the US Federal Reserve signalled it was likely to cut interest rates in July, and the dollar and benchmark bond yields fell to multiyear lows.
On Wednesday, the Fed suggested rate cuts might start as soon as July, saying it was ready to take action in the face of growing economic risks...
