Mercedes has revealed a number of limited edition models for AMG’s 50th anniversary
Mercedes’ performance division, AMG, is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2017. Unsurprisingly, this milestone is an excuse to churn out a few limited-edition models including the AMG GTC Roadster Edition 50 as well as the C63 Ocean Blue Edition convertible and C43 4Matic Night Editions. Mercedes-Benz SA has only been able to confirm the AMG GTC models for our market but it is looking at the other models too, all of which combine extended ranges of equipment with special design features. Wider choice "2016 was the most successful year so far in our company history," says Tobias Moers, CEO of Mercedes-AMG. "We will be using this momentum to fill even more customers with enthusiasm for Mercedes-AMG in our anniversary year, 2017. We will be supported in this by our new editions, which we are presenting at the Geneva Motor Show. So we can offer our customers a wider choice of individual performance models."
